Ubisoft recently announced that Rayman Legends will now hit the PS3 and 360, in addition to the Wii U. The company also delayed the Wii U version to coincide with the launch of the ports. The Wii U version of the game, which was scheduled to release on February 26th, was revealed to now be launching in September.
Needless to say, there has been an abundance of vocally unhappy Wii U owners. Many questioning why Ubisoft would delay a finished game only to release it at the same time as Grand Theft Auto V. Thousands of angry fans have taken to Ubisoft’s Facebook page as well as the uPlay Miiverse Community to share their displeasure with the company’s decision.
In an attempt to alleviate the anger, the company promised Wii U owners an exclusive demo of game. “Thanks for all your feedback regarding Rayman Legends in all of its forms,” the company wrote on their facebook page. “We have heard you and we will continue to listen. We understand your frustration and that you want to get your hands on the game. We are working with the development team to provide you with a new, exclusive demo for the Wii U soon.”
The announcement has been nothing short of a PR nightmare for Ubisoft. The support for the decision has been almost nonexistent, even amongst the game’s developers.
Stay tuned for more news on the game (if we ever hear anything else within the next 7 months, that is).
How online retailers solve the problem of reaching new buyers in a new way.
Hi folks.
My friend is an online retailer and he says that one of the largest problem that retailers face is the lack of methods to reach new buyers. He checked out a couple services and found Happy Retailer.
I think this is a very interesting idea to allow retailers upload inventory in one place and sell them simultaneously on Amazon, EBay, Bonanza and more than 1001 websites!
If you a retailer it might be interesting for you.
