New Super Mario 3D World Gameplay Vid Shows Powers, Miiverse UPDATE: NOW IN ENGLISH

Nintendo of Japan have released a new video chock full of gameplay, introducing player to all the power ups found in  Super Mario 3D World.

As well as the previous announced Cat bell, which lets Mario and company climb walls, there’s the Double Cherry which creates duplicates of our heroes and old favourites such as the Tanooki suit, in both regular and silver varieties, the Boomerang  Bros suit, which was first introduced in Super Mario 3D Land, and the giant mushroom which turns Mario into a dungaree wearing Godzilla, giving him the power to trash levels.

There’s also new blocks for Mario to wear including a coin block which gives Mario extras coins every time he jumps, a cannon block which turns him into a bullet bill dispensing death machine, and a light block which allows Mario to see in the dark and kill Boos.

Also included is footage of how the games Miiverse integration will work, with players able to send messages to other players as well as custom drawings made using stamps which are collected in-game.
