Warner Bros. has announced that 3DS/PS Vita spin-off: Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate is coming to PC, PS3 Xbox 360 and WiiU in HD from 2nd April: now titled, wait for it, Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate- Hyper Mega Super Turbo Deluxe Edition. OK, Maybe it’s just called Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition, but it’s still a mouthful all the same.
As well as sporting the aforementioned HD spit and polish, the new version of Bat’s 2.5D metroidvania excursion to Gotham’s most notorious prison will also feature a new map & hint system for improved navigation and objective tracking, 5.1 surround sound, and full voice acting.
Along with the announcement Warners also sent over a spiffy announcement trailer to showing off just how shiny those extra pixels look.
Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate Deluxe Edition will be available from 2nd April on PSN, Xbox LIVE, Nintendo eShop and Steam for £15.99.
