Bandai Namco has released another new gameplay trailer for Dark Souls II, ahead of the game’s release on 14th March.
I say trailer, but it’s more like one of those god awful corporate motivational videos they make you watch on your ‘induction day’, when you start your new shelf stacking job at Tesco.
In a way it’s fitting. Having spent some time working in a supermarket, I can see the parallels between myself and the cursed knights of Dark Souls II. You spend every day, doing the same thankless task for a paltry reward, and every day you die a little.
Eventually you either succumb to the nightmares and become a husk, or you get promoted. Both are a fate worse than death. But you can’t quit. Oh no, that’s what the bastards want you to do!
It is indeed a ‘Hollow Lullaby’
Dark Souls II is out next month for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
