During yesterday’s Nintendo Direct Broadcast, Nintendo announced that Monolith Soft, the creators of epic Wii RPG Xenoblade Chronicles, were hard at work on an new MMO made exclusively for the WiiU.
As well as the announcement Nintendo showed some footage of the new game in action. The game itself looks like a brilliant blend of Xenoblade, Monster Hunter,Phantasy Star and Zone of Enders,
The footage mostly involves small teams of heavily armed players taking on massive monsters with swords and machine guns. More excitingly towards the end of the video though is footage of the player diving into a mech and continueing to battle even bigger beasties.
