I don’t see how any one could object to today’s fantastic news. Capcom have announced that everyone’s favourite bumbling barrister, Phoenix Wright will be returning to North America and Europe this autumn in Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies.
Set eight years after the events of Trials and Tribulations, Dual Destinies opens with the destruction of the courthouse. It’s down to Phoenix Wright and his team to discover the cause and catch the culprit behind the attack. Battling it out in court against Gaspen Payne, the younger brother of Winston Payne from previous Ace Attorney titles, as they defend the accused.
A first for the series the game will have two protagonists as Phoenix is joined by Apollo Justice and new Associate Attorney Athena Cykes. Athena’s unique ability to psychoanalyse witnesses using her ‘Mood Matrix’ enables players to detect the emotional state of a witness and tell whether they’re surprised, angry, happy or sad. Players can then compare these feelings with their testimony in order to reveal inconsistencies and contradictions

Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies is out this Fall in the EU and US on Nintendo 3DS.
