This morning a new announcement to the iOS version of Injustice: Gods Among Us arose. The announcement comes after the second Challenge Stage expired, which allowed players to finish a large set of battles to receive the new Zod card. The new announcement gives a 50% discount to one Bronze card, a Silver card, and a Gold card:
Some fans of the card-fighter have had to spend a lot of extra hours on the Challenge Stages. The earlier Challenge Stages required players to use specific cards, such as Doomsday and Solomon Grundy. Thus, if a player did not have these cards in his or her collection, then she or he had to leave the Challenge Stages and credit grind until she or he could buy the required cards. Conversely, the Challenge Stages have added a breath of fresh air and a fun mystery to the tap-masher. There are now about 40 character cards available for players.
To address the problem of not having the necessary cards for the Challenge Stages, today’s announcement shows players which cards they will need. A Bronze level Green Lantern, a Silver level Wonder Woman, and a Gold level Black Adam will be part of the teams for the next Challenge Stage. Although the new card has not been revealed a hint came with the first Batgirl Challenge Stage. Once fighters completed it they received the message below.
The first mystery character above was Zod. The next mystery card on the right will be available later this week. Only a few of the characters use guns though, as the pictured character has, so one can surmise that the next Challenge Stage will award a new version of one of the following gunners: Harley Quinn, Deathstroke, Zod (again?), Joker, Cyborg, or a new Red Son version of another character.
