The second 10-day Challenge Stage for the month of October is now available for the iOS version of Injustice: Gods Among Us. When players activate the game, a confirmation will appear that Raven’s Challenge Stage has expired. Then, an advertisement for the new Aquaman offer will appear:

As always, 25 credits are awarded so that teams can enter the fray immediately. However, there is one huge problem that should give everyone pause: BUGS!
Yes, the new Challenge Stage is unplayable because the game has began to crash repeatedly. Before the earlier Challenge Stages (Raven, Zod, etc.) were available for play an update in the iTunes Store was always issued. Unfortunately, your Laser Lemming team has been unable to start the Aquaman wars for the past 9 hours. Each time a match begins, the game closes and we lose our credits. Also, an update to fix these bugs has not yet been made available. Furthermore, on the iTunes page for Injustice: Gods Among Us a number of other disgruntled gamers have also began noting the crashes. Regardless, we will give as thorough a walk-through as possible. The walk-through below is based on the fact that the requirements for the unplayable Challenge Stage can be viewed. It is when players engage and start a match that the game’s bugs take over.
Before (and if) players begin the Aquaman Challenge Stage, they will need the following cards: Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. The other three rounds need Bronze cards, Regime cards, and either Bronze or Silver card-fighters to fill the roster.
Round 1: Bronze Card-Fighters Only

The first round does not offer much of a fight. Thus, use the Bronze cards that offer the best support bonuses. Lex Luthor will give a 15% damage boost and Green Arrow will give a 5% damage boost. Use the Flash as your main fighter, who gets a speed boost for every special attack used, and you will roll through the first round with a powerful, super-fast team.
Round 2: Green Lantern Must Be On Your Team

The only Green Lantern card worth using is the Silver version. This card offers a 15% power regeneration bonus. Since Gold card-fighters are not restricted, use a Justice League themed team. Batman adds 25% damage to attacks and Batgirl allows her teams to begin each match with one bar of energy. This team will showcase the special move sets of the Dark Knight as well as devastate any of the opponent teams in this round. If you are not a Bat-fan, then use Green Lantern with Lex Luthor (again, all of them give high bonuses to either attack or health) and add a brawler like Zod or Bane.
Round 3: Bronze or Silver Card-Fighters Only

Do not use more than one Bronze card unless you have to. The best support cards here are the Bronze Harley Quinn (25% damage to the Joker’s attacks) and the Silver Harley Quinn (10% damage to teams). Let the Silver Joker out of his cage with a 35% damage boost and have fun as he goes nuts with his wonderful toys. If Joker is not in your deck, then the team in the above photo is a good substitute, as it gives bonuses to attacks and power regeneration.
Round 4: Only Regime Cards Are Allowed On Your Team

Superman is the strongest Regime card, but be sure to add proper back-up. The Regime Flash will make the Man of Steel’s attacks 15% faster and the Regime Green Lantern will add power regeneration. Superman’s level 2 special move is unblockable and he will melt the contenders down to size with this team. In theory, that is the best team.
However, we just can’t resist the urge to use Wonder Woman. She gains power regeneration for each move blocked, so players can simply defend and unleash a level 3 super move. Repeat this pattern until you win!
Round 5: Wonder Woman Must Be On Your Team

For the last round, use the Red Son team of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Solomon Grundy. This team will triple its support stats and give a 75% attack bonus, a 45% health bonus, and a 45% power regeneration bonus. More specifically, our fully powered and leveled team does around 1700 damage per punch or kick. Aquaman is the King of the seas, but he can’t overcome this Amazon squad.
Last, we will keep you updated to the status of the bugs in the iOS version. If an update to the app manifests, then we will alter our walk-through to give you more information. This series of blunders is a serious damper on the excitement from DC and NetherRealm’s increased output of Challenge Stages.
