Earlier this year, Fire Emblem: Awakening allowed players to once again take on the role of the franchise’s most enigmatic figure, Marth. Marth has also been established as one of the most dominant fighters in the Super Smash Bros. series, despite the fact that he lacks long-ranged attacks. It was, therefore, only a matter of time before he was added to the current roster of fighters for the upcoming Super Smash Bros. game for the Nintendo Wii U/3DS, and that time has come today!
In addition, a number of new screen-shots for the 2014 release were presented. This brings the current roster of brawlers to 18, and those characters are as follows: Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Samus, Link, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Pit, Villager, Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Pikmin & Olimar, Luigi, Peach, Toon Link, and Marth.
