Project Zero (Fatal Frame) for WiiU Debut Trailer & Screens Released

Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have revealed the first details of the latest game in the Project Zero (Fatal Frame in the US) series exclusively for WiiU.

The new game entitled Zero: Nuregarasu no Miko (Zero: The Black Haired Shine Maiden), has players take on the role of Kozukata Yuuri, a young girl with the ability to see the spirits of people who have been taken to the ghost realm.

These tortured souls inform Kazukata that she also has the power to bring them back to the realm of the living and plead with her to go to Mount Hikamiyama, a sacred place where one can cross from the world of the living to the world of the dead at the witching hour,in order to do so.

As fans had hoped, the gamepad will be used as the game’s Camera Obsura, to observe and capture ghosts within the environment, both on and off screen.

Zero: Nuregarasu no Miko (Zero: The Black Haired Shine Maiden) will be out on 27th September in Japan, a western release has yet to be announced.
