The Top 5 iOS Injustice Silver Card-Fighters

Earlier this week, your Laser Lemming team threw down for real and showed you the top 5 Bronze card-fighters in the iOS version of Injustice: Gods Among Us. Today, we move up from the lowest level cards to the Silver cards. The card-fighters of this class have higher stats and give much more support to teams. Here is what you need to get a leg-up on the competition.

5) Black Adam

Black Adam is a classic annoyer. His level 1 special attack is a mid-range burst of lightning that can deal huge amounts of damage whether or not opponents are blocking. Black Adam should never be the first fighter in. His special ability is Lightning Aura and it reflects damage back at foes. Also, if a hero or villain punches or kicks the lightning aura, then it stuns him or her and allows Black Adam to easily land some combos. His aura only activates when he is tagged in, so keep him out of sight to begin matches.

A very effective annoyer-set is to team this version of the Teth Lord with his Gold Regime card. Add Hawkgirl as the last fighter and then repeatedly tag the Adam’s in and out. This allows a constant lightning aura that will truly annoy opposing teams to death. If Hawkgirl is not in your deck, then add Cyborg, whose special ability generates extra power while he is tagged out.

4) Insurgency Harley Quinn

The Insurgency version of Harley Quinn branches out from only supporting the Joker. Her Psychotic Sidekick ability adds 10% damage to her whole team. As a result, she is a good support card to have for any set that needs attack boosts. Her value is heightened because her cost is only 35,000 credits, which is 16,000 credits less than Black Adam.

Furthermore, Harley can stay on teams into later levels, though it is unwise to use her in battle. Instead, like all of the fighters on this list, she is best left in the last card slot to boost your bigger guns, like Wonder Woman, Batman or Superman.

3) Regime Flash

One shortcoming of the iOS Injustice game is that the teams you face with Regime Flash on them are incredibly fast. This is because he adds 15% attack speed, yet the computer’s teams blow this advantage way out of proportion. Regardless, the Flash is a valuable support card.

One of the funnest teams in the game is Red Son Solomon Grundy, Red Son Deathstroke, and Regime Flash. Red Son Deathstroke adds an extra 10% to attack speed, which brings the total of this team to a ridiculous 25%. Solomon Grundy rises as a super-sonic zombie with little to stand in his way.

2) Insurgency Lex Luthor

Insurgency Lex Luthor is insanely useful. His Force Field adds 25% to your team’s health. This is the highest health boost in the game aside from Red Son Solomon Grundy, who needs extra Red Son cards to top it. Thus, the reasonable cost allows him to make card-fighters that need extra energy, like Doomsday and Lobo, to become effective tanks.

Many players have voiced annoyance when facing teams of power drainers. These teams primarily consist of Nightwings, Bronze Green Arrow, and Lex Luthors. Each of these cards, when used by the computer, can drain more than a full bar of power. To destroy such alliances use Lobo. His special ability does not allow his power to be drained. Even though Lobo has impressive damage, he does not have adequate health. Put him on a team with Insurgency Lex and his health will stabilize. Add the Arkham Asylum Harley, who also adds 25% to health, and Lobo can not only roll the power drainers, but he can grind out victories against most other teams as well. This health boosting support team of Lex and Harley can also make Doomsday unstoppable.

1) Regime Green Lantern

Of the three statistical categories in the game, power generation outweighs both damage and health. Unblockable attacks at level 3 decide winners very quickly. The AI of iOS Injustice limits opponents from using them, but the computer will frequently unleash level 1 attacks to wear you down. This can make opponents like the Regime Wonder Woman and Regime Superman incredibly difficult to stop.

One way to counter them comes with the fact that the Regime Green Lantern is the best Silver support card. With him on your team, players can generate power more quickly than the computer can. His Power Battery is often overlooked, but if he is teamed with the right brawlers, then executing multiple unblockable attacks to wipe the mat with unsuspecting suckers is easy.

Add this card to a team of Batgirl and Batman to test the waters. With Batman as your first fighter, and Batgirl adding one bar of energy to the mix, this team lets Batman loosen his cowl and throw down for real. The only reason to ever have Green Lantern fighting is out of desperation. His low-level stats make him unreliable in battles, so keep him out of sight and let him boost your Gold card-fighters from the side-lines.
